Gerard Butler is in negotiations to star opposite Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in Lionsgate's Gods Of Egypt. Alex Proyas is directing the film from a screenplay by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama. Butler will play the ancient Egyptian god Set. Coster-Waldau, who already joined the project, will play Horus. Set killed Horus' father, and the two are locked in a tale of revenge.
