LONDON – The U.K. season finale of The X Factor on Sunday drew an average audience of 9.7 million, setting a record low for season-ending episodes of the show since at least 2005. Sunday night's episode of the Simon Cowell-created singing competition on ITV brought to an end the 10th season of the talent show in Britain.
