THR Talks Panel Discussion

At this year's Sundance Film Festival, The Hollywood Reporter and YouTube will partner to highlight the different, new and unique ways that creative minds connect with audiences in a digital world.

This THR Talks panel series brings together creative minds from the indie film and digital communities to shine a light on the many attributes of production. The panel discussions will consist of casual conversation with a mix of industry insight and advice from some of Sundance's breakout names and leading creators.

THR TALKS PANELS:

11:30am - Financing Through the Power of Fans
Panel will feature co-directors Bryan Carberry and Clay Tweel (whose film Finders Keeper is in the U.S. documentary competition at the festival), producer/film executive John Sloss (Boyhood, Pieces of April, Boys Don't Cry), Rooster Teeth Productions co-founder Burnie Burns and Indiegogo's Head of Film Marc Hofstatter, moderated by THR's Tatiana Siegel.

1:30pm - Jumpstarting your Career in Film
Panel will feature Gloria Sanchez Productions President Jessica Elbaum and writer/director Leslye Headland (whose film Sleeping with Other People is premiering at the festival), Fullscreen's CEO George Strompolos, founder of The Black List/film executive Franklin Leonard and YouTube creators and filmmakers Benny & Rafi Fine, moderated by THR's Rebecca Ford.
