Netflix Cuts 300 Staff in New Round of Layoffs

About 216 staffers impacted were in the United States; 30 employees were cut in Asia-Pacific countries; 53 in Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and 17 in Latin America. The story.
—"It’s been created by Kit." New details have emerged about the Game of Thrones sequel series in development that’s centered around Jon Snow. Saga creator George R.R. Martin and Thrones stars Emilia Clarke and Gwendoline Christie have all weighed in on the project. Clarke revealed that Jon Snow actor Kit Harington pitched the idea and is intimately involved in the creative direction of the spinoff, something Martin confirmed at the same time as also confirming his involvement. Apple Orders Edith Wharton Drama 'The Buccaneers'
►Bridgerton meets The Gilded Age? Apple TV+ has gone straight to series on an eight-episode drama inspired by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Edith Wharton’s unfinished final novel, The Buccaneers. The series stars Kristine Froseth, Alisha Boe, Josie Totah, Aubri Ibrag, Imogen Waterhouse and Mia Threapleton. The series, from writer and creator Katherine Jakeways, revolves around a group of fun-loving young American girls who exploded into London social scene of the 1870s, kicking off an Anglo-American culture clash. Zachary Levi Reveals Breakdown at 37 Led Him to Seek Treatment
